I worked for EIA almost 4 years, the last two were in ops. All this sounds so familar. Good luck to you guys. As long as Del still runs the show that company will always be fubar.
 
Another scum-bag freighter outfit. Hire, furlough, hire, furlough. Evergreen, Gemini, Tradewinds, etc etc. If you work there, expect to be treated like day-labor in the barrio.
 
Evergreen was getting better about laying off in fact it was 2003 when Smith last did this.I think they were gone for about 2 months... But just when you thought it was safe...

Evergreen recalled the New Hire pilots today before their furlough even went into affect.
 
Any carrier that does not have its own market is subject to the variables of others. EZ has always been a contractor and when the have, they need, when they lose contracts , they terminate, it is that simple.
 
Wow that was short lived.. But we thought it would be. There was no need to put these guys through this.
 
Some of these guys will move on to something else... But for those who don't welcome back. Now all they need is to call the crew sked,DX and Sys ops people back..
