At least you will get out of the same-old monotonus hub and spoke flying... Denver-Omaha probably gets old real quick. If you are going to get paid the same, you might as well see some new places.

I've been to Bullhead City/Laughlin - not too bad if you like water sports (great jetskiing in the hot summer). Plus, close enough to Vegas in case you need to get some big-city time.
