Any ideas where the 175 will be based, any chance LGA or PHL?

My guess would be CLT or PHL. Probably CLT because the mainline 190s are supposedly heading to PHL.

incorrect...they will not open up more big city bases just because of the aquisition of new aircraft....the Republic bases will stay the same IND, PIT, DCA...you will however see downsizing and probably closing of some of the smaller 145 bases that serve primarily USAirways, IE:LGA, BUF

Lately the rumor is that the PHL 170 base is back on, opening sometime between September and November. Not saying I believe it, but a lot of the people that live in the PHL area seem to. We may not open a base in CLT, but I can see us routing some of the 170/175s through there, like we do with PHL right now. Airways seems to be trying to reduce Mesas flying, and I wouldn't be surprised to see 170/175/190 aircraft routed through CLT and Mesas flying reduced.

There are a bunch of people here that would like to see a CLT base. I don't think it's going to happen. For now, all of the flying is planed to stay in the northeast. I haven't seen any evidence of Mesa's CRJ9 flying reducing or PSA reducing their CRJ7 flying out of CLT. It seems that Mesa and PSA pretty much have the Express side of CLT wrapped up. Now, thinks could change. Would be nice to be based at home.

Look for CLT as Mesa moves the 900 back to PHX.

I don't think anyone knows where the hell those airplanes are going. Including those in the palace in IND. Considering the annoucement was just made 4 days ago, I doubt they have the route structure for them.

Perhaps they will go out west. Yeah, I will start that rumor that the 175 are going to be based in PHX and LAS. Yup, I heard from GW that is where they are going. (Run with that one FlightInfo)

I dont think were gonna get PHL 170's 175's and the 190 in PHL not a chance, but I could see CLT. will it happen who knows, sh*t i dont even know when i'll be able to upgrade at Republic or any other RAH company.

Damn I miss ol' shuttle

DFW doesnt make any sense for a USAir program..id believe CLT, but as some have said it doesnt look like PSA or Mesa are gonna back down in there...only time will tell

I think snap is right on. Also, if the airframes are attached to the former order from LCC, the J4J protocols indicate bases at the current RPA bases of IND, PIT, DCA. RPA has maintenence crews in PHL now and a crew base usually follows that. BB has indicated he is going to shrink the 145 operation. Makes sense.
