The latest crewroom chat is that CAL is petitioning their scope to allow us to fly EMB170s as COEX. This would be done under the Republic certificate.

Apparently it is better than finding 69 ERJs to press into service.

Apparently, this phawktard is trying to find SOMETHING to do after being banned from CHQ Lounge.

Absolutely, where else are we going to get the 69 jets?

ur not, Continental just used you as a bargening tool for Xjet so that we keep those 69 planes and pay a higher lease on them. Now Continental will tell u to go ******************** yourself and will resturcture their routes to use more 737's.

<-----I heard you guys were going from pax to freight!

I take it some of you guys on here must be pilots for XJT. I wish you all the best in your company's new venture, and many upgrades.

Hate da game, not da playa!

ByeBye---

LMAO! You funny guy!

Ya know it is highly possible that Continental just punked republic! :)

Thats some straight up Ashton Kutcher shizzznat!

"yeaaaaaah We're gonna lease you 69 Cherry RJs so you can fly them around for us... NOT"

From what I read the CAL deal with CHQ was contingent on XJT giving the planes back... Now that they aren't giving them back CHQ is out of luck.

The most ironic thing that all you "Gimme Bigger airplane" type is that all you are doing is giving the majors less of a reason to hire. For every airline willing to fly 70 seater at 50 seat wages those are jobs that the majors wont need to hire people for. I am convinced the only reason Continental is hiring is that the Pilots drew a 50 seat Jet line in the sand.

So enjoy your EMB-170 at CHQ... Its the biggest airplane you are ever gonna get to fly.

Well Skillz, back from the penalty box huh? So how's a no talent assclown like yourself doing these days? Why don't you try saying some of this stuff in person to one of these guys? Wait, that's right you have no b@lls. Sorry, I forgot.

And in fact may well actually have... 'Course I don't actually KNOW her, just speculatin' here.:D

Skillz, freight is not a bad thing even if we at COEX went that way. I've done it, and maybe you should've too. It would've given you humility and maybe put some hair on your balls. Honestly I wouldn't mind going back to freight, no SJS there.

I don't think Continental pilots will go for that.

Because every other mainline pilot group has been so effective in holding that line...

The difference is that was one of the gains that the CAL pilot group received durring their consessionary contract negotiations. They gave up a lot and they got scope in return. They were also the only pilot group with pretty much no scope what so ever. Think they'll just give that up?
