What was your seniority number when you left..you a betting man?

About 343 when I left. I was 436 when I was hired.

I make more money flying a Legacy than I would make five years from now on the 170 at RP. And I don't worry about whether or not my codeshare partner is going to sh*tcan my flying or whether Rev. Bedford is going to come at me for a paycut or give my flying to an alter ego. I also don't have to worry about overweight pilots sitting in my jumpseat taking notes looking for an excuse to run to the CP or getting suspended for whatever stupid reason BW deems worthy of it.

I am so far better off as to be laughable.

90% of the company were the BEST you have ever met? You must not get out much. There are some truly great folks there like Paggie, Roberg, and a few others... But these are rare individuals for my money (in ANY industry at ANY company).

I'm not here to bash anyone but you don't even KNOW 90% of that company so your statement is ridiculous in the extreme.

Bitter? I was bitter long before I left because there were only 10% of the employees there that seemed to have any integrity. The rest would stab their mothers in the back to get an upgrade or a promotion from my perspective. Why would only 11 pilots vote to strike when push came to shove if everyone was so wonderful as you claim and put the interests of the whole over themselves? Sorry but that was a major sellout and it was done for SELF-INTEREST.

If the company was so great all the rumors and B.S. that pour out of that place on a daily basis about people (not just me) would stop.

Leaving CHQ was THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED to me and I am no longer bitter. I was bitter only as long as they were trying to screw me over. That's all over now. They can't touch me. They can't hurt me. That was the UNION working to right a wrong on my behalf not the backstabbers...

It is far better to be a pilot for a man who knows you by your first name and comes to the hospital to see your three year old with her broken nose than to be number 2246 out of 2800 pilots.

My boss is worth a BILLION dollars and he throws his own bags. I'd rather work for a man like that than for some guy who barely got out of highschool and thinks he is a king because he has "CHIEF" in front of his title.

IMHO, No company will live up to your expectations, the begining of your post above was one of the most narcissistic posts I have ever read, mark my words wait till this company disagrees with you and your not so humble opinions. You will be doing the same thing. I have been reading your posts for years and I have one thing to ask. What is your mission or point. You pissed off everyone on the IBT website, yeah I do remember that, and all the drama you had.
p.s. if your owner is paying you so well then you should be ashamed that you let a man of accomplishment and who lets you have opportunity "throw bags"
But, I know you , inside it makes you feel a little good watching a rich guy "throw bags" you democrat!

I would like you to post and quote where I made the corp group a " second class" and sounds to me that I hit a nerve a truth in your ego..

Again, It is where you call corporate a step back.

I think you are the one with the ego problem.

Again, I am content, and VERY proud to be a Corporate Aviator. My worth is not tied up in the size of my airplane.

How many RON's you do last month Dude? I did 2. all other nights I was home to coach the softball teams and tuck 'em in to bed. (Kids and wife) Oh yeah, made more $ than you too, since that seems so important to you. And I only fly my pittyful little Beechjet.

Again, very well said.

Another insightful and quote proving what an inner city high school education will get you. You may have fooled your employer about your education and ability to comprhend, but not here buddy, your peers can tell who you are. Would you like me to tell you who you are?

Your that guy who sits in IAD with is florshiem shoes and leather members only jacked and your gray hair that is leaning toward a combover hasn't had a good haircut in years. Your tie is 15 years old and your shirts are "great shape" 10 years ago, Your the guy in church that everyone knows as "the Pilot" but it bothers the crap out of you when new people ask " what airline" and you have to go through your standard explanation. Your out of shape and tough guy at the same time (which I would gladly meet you person and watch you crap yourself). Your the guy that everone in every setting knows your a pilot, and cant wait till someone leans the conversation toward aviation.. I may be a dickhead but you are so TYPICAL and Ordinary.

I disagree with my boss all the time. The difference here is that when I talk he listens and takes what I say as a well-intentioned suggestion not a threat to his ego!

Yeah I pissed everyone off on the IBT website because I called them out for being a bunch of p*ssies! No STONES. Everyone was so wrapped up around UPGRADE UPGRADE UPGRADE MORE AIRPLANES FOR US that they didn't give a rat's a** what happened to the new F/Os coming after them.

I pissed people off because I don't take this job so f'ing seriously that it consumes my life. You guys are so afraid of a checkride that you fly the airplane reading the AOM. That's bullsh*t.

I remember guys telling me, "You don't take this seriously at all if you have so much free time to post on the BBS and build models and chase skirts." They HATED the fact that I flat out told them this isn't that hard. THEY CAN SEND MONKEYS INTO SPACE, man. This job just isn't that f'ing hard and when I said that to you fragile-egoed weenies you blew a gasket.

I learned more about flying in THREE days at the Corporate side of the house than in three years at the Regionals. Pull your head out of the sand you 121 bus driver... You aren't all that.

I am not going to get into a wrestling match with him over his bags. When he says, "I GOT IT!" you let him. Been there done that.

The man has more character in his little finger than all of the management at RP combined.

Oh, and no company ever WILL live up to my expectations. But that's because I have very high expectations and if I ran a business I'd do it a lot differently. I may run it right into the ground. I may wind up running the best business that ever existed. BOTTOM LINE: I am a participatory leader. I take inputs from smarter people than myself and try to arrive at an educated decision. And I don't get my feelings hurt when I am told I'm wrong. Too bad Airline CEOs don't know that little gem.

The leadership eats last in the Marine Corps... Always remember that and it will get you far.

4RON'S this YEAR.. and where was your company on Forbes best to work for...I was disappointed that mine was in the high part of the top ten, and
ONLY company to be on the list every year since the begining. p.s. pay is part of that poll...

Who was on Forbe's list? RP? HAHAHAHAH! That's funny. I hope you are corporate and referring to that. No Regional should EVER wind up on any top ten list other than "TOP TEN PLACES THAT SUCK".
