First Officer pay for "ALL" aircraft in the Republic Airways Holdings family is the same. Does not matter what plane your flying. (CHQ,S5,RW)

1ST year FO-(as of Oct 1st 05 $22.06/hr) (06 $22.50/hr) (07-$22.95/hr)
2ND (05 $29.98/hr) (06 $30.37/hr) (07-$30.88/hr)
3RD- (05-$34.15/hr) (06-$34.83/hr) (07-$35.52/hr)
4TH (05-$35.20/hr) (06-$35.90/hr) (07-$36.62/hr)

75/hr guarantee

$22.06/hr x 75 hour gaurantee = $19,854 first year income. (1990 commuter airline wages by the way) This after $20,000 of formal flight training...to be able to fly a 25 million dollar aircraft, have co-responsibility of the lives of 70-72 passengers, co-manage an in-flight team, navigate the US Airspace System, and the "prestige" of being an jet airline pilot at 23 at 1200 hours of TT/200 MEL.

One perspective I heard recently was that this (RAH) was the best paying job they ever had. Yeah, I suppose so, at 23. Five years ago it was $36.00/hr to start on an aircraft of this type, and it doubled after the first year with 6% increase over the life of the contract.

The bottom has yet to be reached.

I agree with you! The wages are too low. I do remember in the early 90's when BE1900 FO's were starting out at $13-15/hr not to mention you needed to pay $10,000 for your own training & have 3000+ hrs with an ATP and 500hrs multi.

Times have changed.
