Holding my breath for the 717 transitions to commence. Gonna bid Australia with Lear, Stockholm as my second choice.

Rumor is Southwest just bought a 717 Sim and is setting up a satellite training center in Gaza. At least you can join the locals in the daily stone throwing extravaganza. They have their oppressor, and apparently so do some of you.

I think Hawaiian does their 717 sims in SEA. There may be some in LGB too, maybe?

Bye Bye---General Lee

While I was in SEA simming on the 717, some Deltoids came by to check out the sim.... mostly MD88 guys who were most impressed with the cockpit differences of the latest DC9... Then they told us "Aloha"... and went on their way...

I imagine pretty soon, the HAL checkairman will be fighting for those prime sim slots of 8am and 12pm...

"we all need a laugh now and then",,,,,,,,,,,,,, yes, it is a tragic comedy.... a CEO ranting about 15% ROI while wasting millions of dollars in fuel dollars each year because a "type rated" pilot cannot start the other engine. Hilarious.
Herb time? Spit milk out of my nose I was laughing so hard.
1700+ personnel in an IT department? Busting a gut.
Weight and balance computations? Giggling all the way home.

If you can't objectively critique your methodologies you are just jumping on the band wagon of "group think."

Time to let go of the 1970's and 1980's and pursue a course of action that will provide for the future.

I appreciate the ability for the RSW pilots to work and make a great living.

Would AirTran have been around in 15 years? Maybe/
Will Southwest be around in 15 years? More likely than not, but as more is revealed it is obvious that huge strides need to be taken.
