Can anybody list the different regionals they have up there. I know the industry is horrible up there, but I'm just curious to see if any of them are hiring.

Georgian - YYZ - Air Canada feeder - B1900's
Central Mountain Air - YVR etc - B1900's
Jazz (old Air Ontario & others) - YYZ etc - DHC8, BAE146
Voyageur - North Bay - B1900's
West Jet - B737's (Canadian version of Southwest)
These are the main ones.

You weren't quite right in your assumtion that it is nasty up there (job wise), in fact you could get 10 pounds of rocking horse manure easier than a flying job :D

Air BC is another.

Air BC got swallowed up in the Air Canada / Canadian merger. All the regionals that flew for both airlines got lumped together and shuffled around. Air BC (146's) is now JAZZ.

Basically Air Canada rules the roost with a few other smaller operators trying to survive Air Canada's predatory onslaught.
