I saw a Mesa puke (Freedom) in ATL wearing a "KEEP DELTA MY DELTA" lanyard when the US Air takeover attempt was happening. What a dumba$$.:uzi:

Who really cares. You don't need to actually work for a certain company to wear apparel with their logo, anymore than you have to play for a certain team in order to wear their logo.

If you're staring at me long enough to notice the difference between my ID and my lanyard you're probably gay.

Wait a minute.... grown men.. professional pilots.. are wearing lanyards?!??

I've noticed you rarely see mainline pilots wearing lanyards. Yet they're very popular in the regionals. Maybe it's because most regional pilots have to walk across the ramp in the wind, rain, and jet blast to get to their plane. The lanyard keeps those IDs secure?

My goodness!

The fashion police have moved on to Lanyards.

Lanyards are a practical accessory and if the mainline logo appears on the plane, there isn't anything intrinsically wrong with displaying the same logo. Most passengers think it's a mainline flight anyhow.

Can someone pen a F.I. Regional Pilot Bill of Rights so no one commits any future regional faux pas.

The simple, understated elegance of the pocket clip...that's the one for me...when I tried lanyards they seemed to say, "I just hit the adult working world and haven't really adjusted yet"...they are like shaved heads...they work well for some (Michael Jordan), not so well for others (Britney Spears)...just my 4 cents....

No, It's probably something that they got for free, like the nasty mints at the diner....
