There are 2 different crew tags. It doesn't matter which one you use. "NWA Airlink Crew" or "Mesaba Crew"

I think one I talked to, a new FO, was using an NWA crew tag, didnt see any mention of airlink on it.

Maybe they flew a 74. I flew with some FO's at CMR that had some pretty impressive backgrounds. L1011's, 727,737, etc. Back around 03'-05' when getting a job was tougher there were some pretty experienced pilots just looking for any job, even *gasp* flying an RJ. A lot of 2nd and 3rd tier charter and boxhaulers either furloughed or went tits up after 9/11.

Well when the book looks about 22, and at first said he flew for NWA but then later admitted it was Mesaba.

I use to carry both tags. Normally I used the regional tag, but when riding on the mainline I switched them out. Made it much easier, the FA's were nicer, and I didn't have to worry about some overzealous rampie "losing" my bag.

We've got plenty of chart cases at XJT that have a seminole sticker on them!

Just MHO but unless your ID badge says "NWA CREW", you shouldn't have bag tags that say it.

I saw guys come in on the 1st day of class as a new hire with a B717 sticker on their bag. I guess 300 hours and a BS type rating entitles you to that sticker...
