Just ask what happens if I go to any airline w/ 0 pic and get laid off. Not really an issue if you are not about to upgrade where you are now but I know 2 FOs from ASA that were really close to upgrade and went w/ DAL to get ahead of the wave.
Of course they are happy and I am not sure if any one other than AAi even requires 121pic anymore but is one thing to think about. Another potential reason they want FO is b/c they will be less likely to leave if they have less quals than a senior CA. AAI has not figured that out and wonders why their FOs w/ less than a year are being picked up by other carriers.
Good luck I think DAL is probaly one of the best places to be in the airline industry.
