Okay I was clicking through the tv tonite and saw the stupidest thing ever on tv. Ice skating with the stars, reality tv has gone way too far so lets push it a little further!!!

A new reality show about the airline industry or even Regionals, How would it go? Would it be "survior" type or the Bachelor?

Discuss...

It would be more like 'King of the Mountain'. Last one left standing wins. Hell, guys are jumping ship left and right for greener grass on the other side. We would kick ourselves off until one pilot is left. Besides, who would watch? At our crashpad, seven of us sit around doing jack nothing, and one guy works. Really, it would give CEOs more leverage to lower pay scales. Bad idea. Let us sit around and get 4 hrs credit to sit rsv and view flightinfo.

The already have Airline on A&E. That just shows what happens when you give trailor trash an airline ticket.

They had that show a few years back about Air Force pilots training to get into the F-15. That flopped real quick, I think there were about 4 episodes.

yea but the beauty of this would be the pilots would not be sure if they had a job everytime they come to work.....THATS REALITY TV!!!!

I remember that. It was pretty lame. The worst pilot of the bunch had the hottest wife though.

Yes, yes she was.
Didn't they give him a rediculous amount of chances to pass, but he couldnt fly the plane?

Sounds more like "Celebrity Deathmatch" to me!:uzi:

I think the best part would be when we complain allll day long, then work for 2 hours, then complain. Maybe after the episode they could show a special on Uganda to show how bad us pilots really have it!

ps (I do complain just as much as the other guy!)

Don't worry, the SJS will wear off as soon as you hit 500 hours...:).

And I'd complain too if I only flew 2 hrs/day. I try to pick up as much open time as I can...

$$=bills

> A/C = < $$ unfortunately :(

Add surplus1 and Fins and you've got one heck of a show! :D I think Ty might like to have The_Russian around also. ;)

They don't have a show that shows you what happens when you hire trailer trash.

I think we're already living it ... it's called Survivor: Airline style.

Some of you may have heard of the new Frontier Airlines Flight Attendant Academy show. I was joking around in class the other day about a reality show based on airline pilot training. We decided a reality show about watching pilots nod off in the middle of ground school wouldn't be all that exciting.

Yeah, how does a guy like him even make it into the Air Force?, let alone get selected for Fighters.
