Yeah I would like to see it change and it really is not a bad job either. However in this job market I was willing to over look it to get back to work!

Once a year per plane for us also. If you fly two different types (not real common) than you would go every 6 months (ie, Hawker in Dec and GIII in June).
 
India based FAA, twice per year, a part 61 recurrent and then a proficiency check or short recurrent. All jobs I have had in Corporate have been 135 and 2 times a year for recurrent.
