I want to vacation in the Carribean with my family.

Would anyone know if the Hilton company owns the Westin Hotel chain? I have really liked those hotels and would love to build points for free nights with those folks.

Anyone know?

I want free nights in very nice hotels in the Carribean or South Pacific. That isn't asking too much is it...lol.

Westin is under the Starwood Preferred Guest program. Nice lodging, just not as many locations as Hilton & Marriott.

If you get the Starwood Amex, you can xfer points to just about any airline.
