I could not agree more!!! They want to stop the leak in the dam with sand. Its going to take a WHOLE lot more than 30 reacalls to do it! The funny thing is that out of those 304 on furlough they are lucky if they can get 100 back.
I wonder if those tools in management still think they're saving money with our 16 year contract and outsourcing more and more flying. With so many people leaving, morale in the pits, displacements, etc., training costs alone due to people quiting and displacing must have already cost AMR a pretty penny.
Let's see if this time it really is a recall, instead of "oh, sorry for the mistake. We had NO IDEA the ASM cap would really be a problem. What's that? You already quit you're job after getting the recall notice? Oh, that's too bad!"
