You can find me at the Medford Boat Club running around in a commodore's uniform perhaps [I swear I only wear it for the kids at halloween], ask Commodore Orlando. He might give you some inside scoop on the life of Riley --"What a revoltin' development this is!"--that John is now leading with wife Maureen, seven year old daughter Caroline Frances and five year old son John.

Nahill calls himself the Commodore of a boat he owns and has named katamacajo"

"I want all you Non union pilots to keep going that extra mile for me so I stay at home with my family 365 days a year and keep enjoying my mid six figure annual consulting fee that Raytheon is paying me mostly to keep my mouth shut if and when the feds come calling."

Submitted in my humble opinion. "By the way, any of you that don't call in and vote union are total chumps."

I've had too much red, red wine. Sorry for what I did to you John and others. God have mercy upon my soul. ASAP, no mercy, make it right, please.

These guys are doing the right thing- honors

"Recognizing the company policy is that the final decision to fly a plane rests with the pilots; they consistently attempt to badger, intimidate, and often attack our personal work ethics in the interest of getting pilots to fly airplanes with maintenance discrepancies or airworthiness issues.

Our Goals;

Ø Increased safety

Ø Industry competitive wages

Ø Fair and equitable work rules

Ø Protection of our domiciles and schedules

Ø Protection of our seniority list and seniority rights

Ø Protection of individual pilots from unjust treatment

Ø Protection of our jobs in the event of a merger, sale, or transfer of aircraft

Ø Representation for our pilots during FAA inquiries or disciplinary actions

Ø Establishment of democratically elected pilot representation tasked with presenting issues of collective concern to management on behalf of the entire pilot group

Pretty brazen, LuvU

WTF? Did you get this guy's PERMISSION to lift his post from a PASSWORD PROTECTED board to here...with his first and last name on it????
Pretty rude and thoughtless move...I'd imagine if someone wanted their letter and entire name posted they'd have done it themselves. Is that the consideration you'd want for yourself? :smash:
Think before you act. There's enough lifting of other posts, but doing it with someone's entire name is pretty nuts.

Not YOUR decision to make!

It was Mike's intention to "come out." We all know management reads even the password protected board. Mike wanted everyone that knows him to know how he stood on this issue.

Being who Mike is, I think his self outing will help push us over the 75% mark and his unifying rather than dividing message is what is going to be needed to hold the pilots together during the MEC and contract negotiation phases.

Mike wants to make a contribution to that process. He is thinking ahead and I applaud his deliberation as much as his deliberate self outing.

His "COMING OUT" is not for you to decide where. He "came out" on two PASSWORD PROTECTED boards. You (I might add under your own anonymity) posted his FULL first and last name on a PUBLIC forum. Big difference.

Did you ever stop to think that his letter was intended for the pilots and management of Flight Options and not the whole d@mn world? Maybe he doesn't want some neighbor searching his name on the net to see his company's dirty laundry, or want anyone doing a web search to even know where he works...or any NUMBER of reasons.

Bottom line, if HE decided (or decides to) post it on a public forum, HE will do it...You are WAY, WAY out of line, and EXACTLY the reason why many more will REMAIN anonymous (like yourself) :angryfire

point taken. You and I have a VERY different concept of what we think are internet searchable forums. I think you may be somewhat naive. I have, however, deleted the contents of the post above.

Yet his full name still remained in the title of your post....NICE JOB!

I don't have a clue who this guy is, or why his position might make a difference to so many people as you indicate.....but you were seriously in the wrong for posting this on a public board!

I'm naive, yet YOU think public message boards are unsearchable?
Interesting bit of worldly sophistication there, Elmer.

Exactly FracCapt...!
That guy would post it on his OWN if that was his intention.
Anyone acting as an intermediary on my behalf WITHOUT permission
would find their cheese moved REALLY quickly.

Nonetheless, I think the illegally reposted letter was an EXCELLENT one, and one of the most sane I've read in quite a while.

I do find it notable that none of the organizers commented on it (favorable or whatever)...but then, if I were an organizer the first thing I'd be thinking is "D*mn! Is this guy going to get my MEC vote?" lol

Regardless, I think he expressed what a great deal of people have always thought (like someone else said, just a heck of a lot better) :)
