In the Mesa TA Overview document it says for Captain Pay -
"Took the average pay for our two peers (Trans States and Chautauqua) competing with us for growth opportunities. This results in an immediate average increase of 2.5%."
Too bad the MEC didn't consider Skywest, AW, Comair, etc as their peers. This may shed some light on the reason for the rates proposed and approved.
