So he was to dumb to apply elsewhere too? I stayed almost a whole year does that count?

I applied not that long ago. Got a call about two days later. Then they were upset that I wouldn't drop everything, be there for an interview 4 days later, and prepare for a dec 8 ground school, a grand total of three weeks later. She seemed taken back that I said sorry, can't make it right now.
