. . . But, how did it go? Where did you go? How long? What was covered, etc.
Once more, congratulations. One more unemployed flight instructor to add to the ranks.
It went better than I expected. The local fsdo was booked up so I went with the one dpe that our fsdo uses'.
The oral lasted about three hours with two breaks. The dpe didn't drill me, he wanted for me to show my 'instructional knowledge' The questions that he asked me were reasonable. The first question kind of took me by surprise, 'probably the most difficult'
I thought to myself "if the whole check ride is going to be like this than it is over" The examiner asked me "a friend told me that if I load my cg to the rear, my airplane will fly faster. Is this true? please explain yourself"
FOI questions were thrown in here and there, maybe a total of ten.
This was the wind for the flight 29019G31KT

The flight lasted for about 1.0 it consisted of a normal t/o, chandelle, p/o stall, steep spirals, and 8's on pylons, which I didn't do perfect. After that he took the a/c and showed me how I should teach 8's. He than showed me how I should teach turns around a point. After that he said let's go back to the airport and show me how to land. I landed and than taxied back. He said "let me take off, teach me how" I taught him, he landed and that's it.
Definetely the happiest day of my life 'so far'
