What's wrong with the dog? He looks like you just chewed him out?

PS Congrats.

That's how he always looks, hanging out outside my grandmothers kitchen waiting for scraps.

Fattest (125lbs), smelliest lab ever, but he was just so damn cute. His life revolved around food....that was his "poor me, feed me" look

Thanks:beer:

Put in my app in July, attended a job fair in Sep and got the email invite for an interview a week later. Interviewed three weeks later with the hire.

No internal help until that job fair as I had to have talked to the right person as he was the one who called me with the job offer. I owe that man a few nice bottles of his choice.

I think it was the job fair in ATL that did it for me. I had 11 internal recs, but no sponsor. It just so happened that JS knew a few of my internals and that cut the ice. Got an interview offer right there. 1 week later got the call to set it up. Just hang in there. It's frustrating but well worth it. Good luck.

10 months.
I have a friend that was told he was in the short stack about the same time I was. He's never been called (?). I think the key, once in the stack, is to update very frequently.

I went to a job fair last year with two friends. We didn't have sponsors and all three of us are now working at CAL.

Which job fairs did you go to?

I did the Continenal Job Fair in IAH. This was a company wide job fair so it was not a Pilot Sword Fight to get some face time . I'm sure any job fair will help, but I honestly believe these types are a lot better. You will be able to spend a lot more time with the recruiter instead of 10mins after standing in line for an hour, plus you'll stand out more.

App completed in July
CAL Job Fair in Sep (called five days later)
Interview in Oct
Start class Nov. 27

3 internals (1 was the sponsor)

Good Luck!!

Completed online app. in July
3 internal rec's , one sponsor
called by chief pilot and put on short list in Aug.
Air Inc. job fair in Oct.
Still waiting to hear.

Air, Inc job fair in September for me.

Of course, mine was a two hour wait for 10 mins of face time. It was still worth it.
