Is there an FAR or AC that explains what the proper procedure is for id'ing yourself?
For example. Cessna 172 RG has a tailnumber of N6277R.
Upon initial callup to ground at a controlled airport one would say "Kalamazoo ground, Skyhawk 6277R with ZULU taxi to activate vfr northbound."
After that, when talking to tower, what is the procdure or rule for your callsign? Can you at that point call youself "77R?" Or do you need to initiall identify yourself as 77R on your initial callup?
