Hey guys,

We have a guy on the Fractional section that we are sure is a Union Buster.

He always talks about how great his non-union carrier is.

He will never say who he works for.

I told him I give up and want in and where could I apply?

He said you have to have 3000 hours of international PIC to get hired?

Anybody here ever hear of such high minimums requirements?

Take care and good luck to you all.

I'll hire ya!

I'll bring the bug zapper, you bring the beer!!!

Stag beer coming up!

So much for asking for help from our bretheren at the Majors?

I'm surprised nobody answered my question?

I guess my rebuttle to the union buster slime will go unanswered?

See ya back at our "house"!

Dont think his minimums are accurate. Check with NetJets. They have an international division and I'm sure the mins are not that high.

I had submitted a resume to NetJets and was called for an interview while in training for another job and had to respectfully decline. I don't have that kind of PIC and I don't think they would want to talk to me unless I was qualified.

I don't think NJI is still hiring. Emirates wants 3,000 PIC for direct entry capt. but I don't think they're hiring now, either. VA isn't requiring that kind of time since they're not hiring into the left seat anymore.

Sounds like direct entry capt. for a contract or overseas deal.

No airlines here are hiring anyway.

Or he could be full of crap. TC

Yeah, I don't know of anyone hiring anymore either. It does sound like the 3000 hour, if it's true, would be a requirement for captains off the street.

I think I misunderstood his question.

Oh Good, Thanks but let me clarify!

I already work at Netjets.

I was trying to clarify something a "union buster" on the fractional thread was saying.

He was saying he works at this great non-union carrier.

I said fine, I want to apply.

He said you need 3000 hours of PIC international heavy jet time.

It sounded like BS to me. I've never heard of such of thing for a newhire!

Take care, Semore

It's almost certainly a contract job, any one of dozens available all over the world right now. Requiring 3000 heavy PIC in type is not unexpected when you're being hired as a PIC.

So, now you have. I'm sure the guy is a toolbag all the same.
