Question for the Regional guys...

I fly corporate, I am none the wiser to my buddy's potentially tall tales in the regionals...He says he makes 50K as a 2nd year FO @ Expressjet....B.S.?

I made 51k...but I picked up a little open time and it was prior to our pay cuts.

Maybe 41k including massive overtime and all per-diem.

it's possible, but you'd have to work way to much, and actually read your contract to have some smarts on how to make extra money. I know people that would get paid over 120 hours a month by knowing the game.

LOTS of overtime. If he included his Per Diem and Profit Sharing that was paid in Jan/Feb, it is very possible.

Another thought, if your buddy was smart enough to bid a check airman line than he got paid for the trip he was taken off (FBO'd) and then picked up another trip and got paid add pay. We had some FO's making easily as much as captains by paying attention to the contract. These guys made out like bandits for not much overtime.
