Oh dear. Here's what I was talking about:
- Fully loaded CRJ-200 descending at 2500fpm, 320 kts
-ATC: "ACEY 1234 slow to 250 kts"
-Dimwitted pilot extends flight spoilers to MAX
-Result:
Nada.
Repeat 200X (or fewer if IQ is high) and continue to use this highly ineffective "technique"
