Question for ABX Pilots

According to another forum, Mark Zweidinger, soon to be former chief pilot at ABX, is joining Independence Air (FLYi.com) as VP Flight Operations.

Could anyone who knows Captain Zweidinger or has had any dealings with him please post your opinion of him (good or bad) or send me an e-mail regarding him.

Just trying to get a sense for what our pilot group should expect. Thanks in advance for your help.

Maybe he'll bring Starkovich with him, then let the games begin! My contacts at ABX tell me of constant contract violations, staffing the airline via junior manning and a total lack of trust in management. I hope he doesn't bring these policies to Independence Air.

I've worked with Capt. Zweidinger for over three years. He has always been honest and forthright in all of my interactions with him. The pilot/management relationship has seemed to improved since he took over as system chief pilot. IMHO, Independance Air is very lucky to be getting him as VP of Flight Ops.
