Thanks to the bizjet mafia lurkers who have helped motivate someone else who was in the same place they were in just a few years ago...that is what is great about the board...dispelling myths, perceptions...letting folks know they hire all types of folks, regardless of background is what makes SWA a little different....again thanks to
flying@swa, luv2fly, rex kramer & the others who helped dispel the myth & instilled some hope out there.

Thanks guys,

Swerpipe has been telling me to keep the faith, but I wanted to put this out there to see for myself. I must remember this:

10 years ago I wanted to be a pilot and thought SWA would be a cool place to work.

4 years ago I was a FO a regional that had a long time to upgrade and needed 1000hrs of PIC-T. I knew no SWA folks and still thought SWA would be a cool place to work

3 years ago I was getting my first type, was starting to log PIC-T and met one person from SWA

1 year ago I wanted THE TYPE and knew two people at SWA

Today I have the hat, 1 LOR from a SWA pilot, and I know 2 people at SWA.

What will tomorrow bring?
