I was wondering what some of the other major airline groups are doing for their furloughed pilots.

What is the opinion of extra flying/open time while pilots are on the street?

What is the opinion of selling vacation back while pilots on the street?

Thanks all, just want to work!

ABX,

I don't think our furloughs like it at all, but we got sued during contract 2000 negotiations for not picking it up, and WE LOST. I personally do not do that.

And, at Delta it looks like we could start recalling our furloughs soon due to the trigger mechanism set up by the arbitrator---being hit last month. We will know the numbers soon, but it looks good supposedly.....I don't know the recall rate---it could be really slow though. But, we should also start having again huge retirement numbers since the Gatt rate has gone up and currently there is a large difference in lump sum payouts for 25 year guys leaving June 1st versus July 1st. We shall see......

Bye Bye--General Lee:rolleyes:
