I watched a guy use it to smoke a cigarette when the conga line to the runway was gridlocked.

I use it to throw the signed copy of the release to the rampers if we have already closed the main cabin door.

I know a SkyWest crew that had to use it a few years back due to the cockpit door being stuck....

Word is that one of the larger IP's here climbed through it in the hanger for a couple hundred in a bet.

That's exactly why the ERJ has sliding side windows.
Makes for great footrest in Newark too!

Famous quote from a unknown FO during a Captains safefy brief. If it comes down to it I'm going through the hatch first because "i'm not going to die staring at your fat A$$" Captain was "a little over weight" Got a few chuckles.

My FO had a jetpipe overheat while in the taxi line at PHL. He went back to the lav to clean up and I used the escape hatch for ventilation.

If they didn't want you to use the sunroof they wouldn't have put it there in the first place.
It does get a little noisy at 290.

We had a FA change into her swimsuit, go out the hatch and sunbath on the top of the fuselage during a lengthy mx delay. I don't think she even got fired!!

Thats impressive. We had an FA that also used to be a stripper at a club in Manhattan. On her last day with the company, she stripped off her uniform down to her thong, threw it on the ground, and danced on it before walking off her last flight with the company.

And yeah, she was hot, or rather, hot enough.
