Anyone had to use that escape hatch in real life? Need some stories.

Yes, I've opened the escape hatch, poured water down over the windshield, and turned the wipers on.

My FO had a jetpipe overheat while in the taxi line at PHL. He went back to the lav to clean up and I used the escape hatch for ventilation.

Thats impressive. We had an FA that also used to be a stripper at a club in Manhattan. On her last day with the company, she stripped off her uniform down to her thong, threw it on the ground, and danced on it before walking off her last flight with the company.

And yeah, she was hot, or rather, hot enough.
