Is EK planning to hire again soon? Or are they still on a hiring freeze?
 
Tehran, Peshwar, Islambad, etc are all turns for EK. Basically, anything in the middle east and the subcontinent are turns for us. Security is fine. Hotels are nice. As always though, you have to be aware of your surroundings, regardless of where you are.

Regardless I think you should REQUEST the 777 because you are most current on that fleet. Just request it and see what they say...

There are other 777 operators hiring (some sporadically) like Korean and maybe Etihad (and EK at some point in the future). Trained and experienced 777 pilots must have some value...
