Been a few years since I’ve been to PV, so this info might be dated. Here’s what I can remember. ICCS does not have an FBO there, they are a handler. They can take care of your paperwork, etc., but don’t have an actual facility.
Aerotron on the other hand was nice (FBO’s per se are rare down south), I’d recommend using them again, if your aircraft can fit on there ramp. Aerotron’s taxi way and ramp area are very small, not a problem if you’re in a Lear or Citation, but I don’t know if I’d take a GV in there. You can pay for all your fees with “normal” credit cards at Aerotron, so you don’t need to bring much cash. They usually have a customs guy at the facility to clear you passengers, but if he’s busy they might have to take a van over to the “real” customs area. I always bring Prist so I really don’t know if they had it available (Prist is hard to find in MX).
Hotel’s etc., I wasn’t that big of a fan of PV, it’s a rather big city. We’ve stayed at the Westin and the one next to it, they’re Ok. If you’re staying more than a few days I’d recommend looking into some of the smaller “villa’s” etc. that you can rent in the Punta Mita area.
For a “beach” resort I was pretty disappointed with the actual beach, seems like it been eroded so much that the actual sand area is very small.
