LandRoverNut said:Why Change, we are making them money and AZ thinks the pilot groups are happy based on last quarters on time numbers and lower fuel and brake costs. The lines this month are worse than last.
MY QUESTION IS CAN IT GET ANY WORSE?, BRING IT ON! ALL LINES 10 days off sounds great! While we are at it NO OPEN time not even on the net. That will show those pilots.
MORAL AT AN ALL TIME LOW HERE AT PSA AND GETTING WORST.
WSurf said:Yea, I agree with it. But I think a lot of blame on what has happened to regionals has been brought along by ALPA (Like you, I don't enjoy my 1300.00 a year Mag) and us. JO said that he pays his pilots at Mesa too much money already, since he can fill a new hire class each month. Being part of ALPA any contract that was signed and sealed should have raised the bar in terms of works rules and pay.
Yes, this industry sucks..... And if you can get out I would say do it!

Your right, and I apologize for kinda jumpin you. But this industry is full of complainers and I can't answer why we complain so much. Maybe we just have too much time in hotels and in cruise. I know people that even if given a job making 200k a year as a FedEx pilot they wouldn't change at all.
I think you answered a bit of the question why we complain... Many of us pilots like to control our surroundings, kinda in our blood being pilots. And too not have control of Sched, Pay, Work rules etc turns us into complainers.
I love flying, but at the same time I don't like some of the bs that goes along with it. I only hope that the industry can turn around...
