At what point would USAirways sell off PSA and the others? Seriously, how bad does it have to get? The CEO and CFO are gone. An ex-investment banker is in charge. Fuel prices are still way high. It's not looking good...
IP, are you saying that being paid alot less than other pilots at other carriers and or actually paying your employer to be there has no effect on the viability of the other carriers? This is just straight economics. Again I dont care who you work for, the job is the same. But you cant possible deny with a straight face that undercutting another business would not effect the business being undercut.
I didn't say that, Fr8. What I did say is that you are aiming your barbs the wrong way. My willingness to work for less than you isn't costing you your job, USAirways is costing you your job. Or it WILL, or so it would appear from all the dire predictions... Ironically, the fact that they paid less for my services than for yours has IMPROVED the financial standing of Big U, wouldn't you say?
The mainline MEC, Beebe, Woerth, and the rest of the braintrust of ALPA are what is behind the wholly-owneds collective misery. Greed and stupidity will be their legacy.
