I heard about a PSA sickout that was supposed to happen today..... anybody ??? I'm in hilton head until 3pm today so won't be around the airports to see if there are any cancellations.

why? whats going on at PSA?? and even if there was going to be a sickout, no one would confirm it on a message board.

I heard about it last night. I think it was supposed to be with FA's. I dont know how many have so far, but I hope it was a ********************load. It needs to happen. Things really need to change around here. Moral at this company is the lowest that its been for years (coming from some guys how have been here for awhile.)

What's going on is our schedules have gone down the toilet.
Two months ago I had 15 days off with commutable lines. Now the maximum days off is 13! That's what the guys who've been here for 20 years are getting. The rest of us are getting 10,11 and 12 days off with 6am shows on day one (followed by long productivity breaks usually). For me this equates to 5 days at home in April with my family. (not counting days spent commuting).

The work of KH no doubt. You guys need to talk with some of the old ALG guys to see how that smacktard was delt with. It funny to watch him throw a temper tantrum.

any old ALG folks on here want to chime in? This sounds like a story worth sharing.

He and his staff are tools.

I was in a PSA jumpseat the other day. Captain showed me his 13 day off, 75 hour line.

Utter BS!

Look at the bright side, atleast you got Jets!

Hey I'd rather be flying a D328 (or a SF340) than be unemployed and watching my contract be gutted.

But being home collecting unemployment is probably better for my health than putting up with that lousy of a QOL

It is what it is because of MESA.

You'd think they could at least mix up AWAC & PSA's terrible 50 seat schedules and come out with two halfway decent sets of schedules, wouldn't ya?

...nah, that'd be too easy

...management. Stop doing their work for them.

Sounds like a PDT merger is imminent. Welcome to Piedmont.

Uh huh. ....and Lindsay Lohan just crawled out from under my covers....

News should be out within the next two weeks. Looks like PSA/PDT will be merging. Also, US Airways/Alaska merger may be announced. If so, expect to hear news about a Horizon/Piedmont merger.

Something is finally about to happen. This should become very interesting, very soon.

This info comes directly from Piedmont management. Just be patient and give it until the end of Feb. At the end of Feb, you all can tell me that I was full of sh!t.

Believe me, I have better things to do than make crap up.

Uh huh...

If you're talking about the base realignment at PDT, sure that's big news. But I don't see what that has to do with a PSA/PDT merger. What about the USAir/Alaska thing? Horizon still on the horizon?

I think the root of the problem is the way USAir runs their sked. Our schedules are MUCH worse here at AWAC now that we are 100% onboard with USAir. It seems alot of our flying isn't through the hub, we just kind of go point to point around the perimeter never allowing for crew swaps so we can actually have commutable schedules.

That two timing, trifling little skank! It's donkey punch payback time tonight, and I'll force feed her a sandwich.
