Does this mean we can jumpseat on UPS and FedEx now? They're CASS approved, right? If so, my 4hr, 2 leg commute will now sometimes be able to be a 1 1/2 hr, one leg commute.
i have used Cass not on nwa but on UAL. it works give the employee number but in our case the employee number has 2 letters on the end (en) make sure the gate agent knows that the employee number has letters in the id (cosider the en as part of your number just put it at the end) and make sure the id has 0's at the beginning to make it a total of 6 digits minus the en, ie. lets say your nuber is 9882 you would tell the gate agent your id is
009882en and your two letter carrier code is 'US' thats important we are on the usairways cass so thats the key here to use US!!! hope this helps....
Just to let everyone know, NWA takes a little longer to get us in their system. I tried on Monday and they said we aren't in their database because we have to be approved by their MEC and and then added to their FOM. They said it usually takes a week.
