Also for Weasil, commuter policy came out today! 5/8/2006

Good Luck,

Shucks, you mean they did it just for me. I should have quit a long time ago.

Why did they just announce it unilaterally though, without approaching the union for a side letter? Does signing up for the policy (which is required the way I read it) mean that you have to agree to the dependability program (which the union does not recognise).

i'm not trying to be a pain the in the a$$ but of those 1500 probably about 300 to 400 will actually come back. i dont think that is a huge exaggeration and i think its starting to be apparent how successful airways is going to be in the future and to potentially be a part of it all would be nice sooner better than later. just my two worthless pennies

Again, we are in diffrent situation in regards to AAA's demands that PDT is dealing with. They have nothing to lose. We do, and AAA's proposal that the PDT and AAA is working on is something that I would not even attempt to bring to this property. I am hoping to come to a soft medium when we wrap up our ongoing talks over other J4J issues.

K pumpkin?

Just curious, what does PSA have to loose that PDT doesnt?? If they agree to a flow through, and the PSA MEC does not ride on the shirt tails of such agreement, what do you think would happen with the morale seeing PDT guys flow over to the 190, while PSA guys sit here? Just curious, as I would think if PDT is close to a TA with this, that PSA would have had an interest in being included and maybe hashing out their issues with the flow through together? Again not knowing the details, can't really form an opinion, but then if the details are that bad, would think some sort of idea to the membership would be greatly welcomed. I'm hearing from more and more f/o's that they are taking a wait and see attitude around here, due to the carrot and rumors of flow through. I'd kinda like to know how far apart or the issues if I was in their shoes...

No, IT doesn't say you recognize it. If you sign up, it lets the company know that you are a commuter. It gives them an idea if and when and/or where you are coming from. Believe it or not, before they call numbers with different area codes they have no idea where you are coming from. A few guys...like 328 dude, they know where he's coming from, but most they do not. They can remember where people come from that help them out, or put them out which ever the case maybe but their was no way for them to know. Now, everyone keeps their cell number, you can have any area code living in Domicile. Their are more things to come.

Either sign up, or don't but it won't do you any good, good luck at XJT, Hopefully you'll realize the grass isn't greener...and whatever you do don't burn any bridges, you have no idea how many guys have come back.

And be careful who you through out of the IPT over there, It might be your next boss!

Good Luck,

just asking a simple question im interested as to whats going on, but thanks for the condescending attitude honeybiscuits.

Interesting nickname you have for 328dude.

Hey 328, you don't come to see me anymore, am I on the "Cheeseburger" list now?

I love Honey Biscuits, especially from Bob Evans. Anywho, got 20 off this month with vacation, so I'm not around a whole lot. Don't you worry, we'll be seeing alot of each other in the near future if you know what I mean.

Classes at PSA

Just got the E-mail from HR and the pool is almost depleted as I predicted...SO, We barely have enough people for the June 4th calls so Interviews will start soon and it will be a rush to get people done in time for the second June class.

Good Luck,

Not to be too doom and gloom, but that pretty much sums up this place some days. By the way, thanks for bumping that pass problem along up the line. Maybe I'll actually be able to get home sometime if they stop junior manning me.

Good news we are actually putting more pilots on the seniority list though.

To: All PSA Pilot
From: MEC Chairman
RE: PSA Airlines Commuter Policy

While your Association leadership finalizes a more complete and comprehensive position statement and recommendation for our member pilots on this issue, I wanted to take this opportunity to update all of you on the efforts of your Association leadership regarding this matter.

On Thursday May 11th I and Negotiating Committee member(s) had the opportunity to meet with (The company) to discuss this newly instituted policy.

While your MEC has been encouraged by the Company's attempt to service the interests of this pilot group through this policy, and although the Company, by its actions, acknowledges that a commuter policy would be of value to this pilot group, this policy, for a number of reasons, cannot be endorsed by your Association leadership.

At this time we must strongly and emphatically recommend to each and every pilot to NOT sign up for or participate in this Company sponsored policy.

Again, a more complete and comprehensive statement is forthcoming regarding this matter that details the legal, procedural, and operational concerns your Association leadership has with this newly instituted policy.

In the meantime, please fly safe and stay tuned for further updates.

Thank you!

MEC Chairman*

I've been here 7 months don't have anything bad to say. You will get used allot on

If you can...live in base...life will be allot better.

"allot" is not a word. I think you meant "a lot" which is two words.

Just curious...I Hate Freight. As in...I Hate Freight from Eagle Lounge?

You are right...I should have studied harder in school. Please correct my spelling if you find anything errant.

Is it true AMR won't be purchasing any airframes until 2014? Just curious... How is the upgrade situation over there? Are the E-190's coming to AMR?

Sure is nice to surf the net on hot reserve and watch cable. Two luxuries I diddn't enjoy in the DFW lounge. Better yet, there aren't any hat nazi's here. I haven't worn that goofy thing in 8 months.

Have they removed the cameras from the DFW crew lounge bathrooms. I always felt like the crew planners were watching me pee or something.

Anyhow...thanks for correcting my grammar.

Peace...blue skies (with bluestreaks)...and a speedy upgrade

Gofish
