Anyone have any info on this one? Supposedly, the ALG chief pilot confirmed it, but I have yet to see it posted anywhere.

I was in Clarksburg today.
A Bombardier rep said they(PSA) are getting
70 CRJ 200's.

That is all...

Thrust Master.

We are getting 60 CRJ 200's as far as anybody knows. The whole thing with the CRJ 705's/700's is still up in the air. If we are getting them it is news to me, but hell I'm always the last to know.

I heard rumors that we will get them, and our union did have a super-secret meeting the other night, but that proves nothing.

Peace

People are already scheduled to go up to Montreal to be trained on the 700.

Ok dude, reveal your source on this one.

Why would TK pay money to train someone when there hasn't even been an announcement?

Are you getting this confused with the fact that Mid Atlantic guys and gals are in training on the jumbo jungle jet in the same facility as our guys in the CRJ-200 in Montreal?

DUUUUUUUUDE!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not confused with Mid Atlantic.

I know someone that is scheduled to get trained. I'm not revealing more than that.

This has got to be bogus. The company does not have manuals or any sort of training program set up for the 701s or 705s. Besides, why would pilots be trained before an order is even made?

The order for the 25 crj 705s was placed with the order of 60 crj 200s, for a total of 85 crjs. The only thing different is that now they are going to be 701s. I've also heard that we may change some crj 200 orders for 700s. The 700s are definitely coming to PSA.

I'll believe it when I see it, just like everything else in this friggin' business.

I'll second that... I won't believe it until one shows up on the property. By the way how are they supposed to be staffed. It had better be 50/50.

YOU BALL LICKERS WILL ALL BE OWNED BY MESA AIRLINES THERE ARE NO 70 SEATERS YOU MIGHT AS WELL START WORKING FOR MESA NOW SO WHEN THEY BUY YOU OUT YOU'LL BE HALF WAY UP THE SENIORITY LIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, evidently your Caps Lock key has become stuck you may wish to use some compressed air to clean your equipment. As for mesa that is Blueridge they are trying to purchase not bluestreak.

As for 70 seats, there has not been any mention of getting this type of aircraft, either by MGT, or the union.

What do they gotta give up this time???

They gave it up for 50 seaters and shafted the other WO's, they gotta give more for 70 seaters? Why didn't they follow the lead of PDT and ALG and say NO to concessions for jets? Did Dave Seagal really say that the other WO's were "unable" to fly jets???

I was in PHL today and say PSA's new RJ doing a revenue flight. Good looking bird. From a Mesa pilot I just wanted to wish you guys the best of luck with the transition from the 328. Now lets just hope that PDT/ALG are able to secure the 700's (705's) that are still up for grabs. Then at least everyone would get a slice of the pie. -Bean

PDT and ALG are not getting any jets. They will be used until their leases of the Dash8 are done and then shut down. It would be nice if PSA got the balls to help their brothers out, but I guess all is far in love and war. I doesn't matter because eventually Mesa will own the ones that are left.

What kind of help are you looking for? I don't think PSA or the people who work there are able to do anything that would help to sustain PDT/ALG.
The only thing I can think of that would help the employees is preferential hiring.

What exactly are you looking for? When we were going to become DC Air, all we got was the "sucks to be you guys line." I remember a lot of comments during that period...None were for support, just "have fun flying for BET"

We did not go behind Segal's back to ask Bonner to stop seigal. We did not make you choose to play hard ball with Segal. Do you really thing if we had said no, then we would have all gotten jets? Wake up, they would have just gone to Mesa.

There is a lot of history of backstabbing in thw W/Os. Dont make is sound like PSA is the one responsible for your union's fault. We all had choices to make, and our choice was to at least keep some flying with a W/O instead of it all going to Mesa.
