I wouldn't fly it across the ocean either. It doesn't give that warm fuzzy feelin that all is right.

I agree there were so many corners cut.. scares me I flew it across the USA....

This was test flight time, It Would have cost them a few hundred dollars under 300 to have the inspections done to see if damage was allowable by mfg MT would be good to go if not replace the prop hub. They refused..... and wanted to hide the damage and their willful disregard for safety....

Screwed in as you were paid to deliver the airplane, right? Was the airplane delivered? Did you get paid for flying the airplane?
Screwed as in who called the Feds in on this? They don't usually get involved in an inop CHT gauge. Any time the Feds get involved, somebody gets screwed.

CHT gauge failed, Instructed to have it fixed, removal of cowl it showed hidden damage to hub and belt stripped bolts etc... Very sub standard work and attention to detail on a 1980 $300,000 182 with 40 so hours on retrofit.

That doesn't look too cool really.
Could it be that some of the engine mount rubbers are installed wrong? Spacers missing? old engine mounts that sag?
Nothing wrong with getting the FAA involved, it will at least keep the owners off your back.

Yea, Will possibly save the 250 hour pilot they hire to fly it back to Florida as is don't think they are going to fix it.

Run, don't walk. Sometimes you just have to run away from a job like this.
