Im doing groundwork with my student and he is getting everything right! I can not stump him. Help me out and give me some stumpers.
 
"What powers the vortex generators?"
 
Give him his endorsement and send him on his way to the FSDO!!!

Then schedule him for his first Instrument lesson. Sounds like a dream.


Me: Show me your student pilot certificate.
Him: What certificate?
Me: You know, your medical?
Him: I think it expired.
Me: No it didn't, it's like three weeks old.
Him: Yeah, it expired.
Me: It expires in three YEARS!
Him: Oh.
Me: Where is it?
Him: Where is what?
Me: Your Medical!!!
Him: I don't have one, it expired.
Me: Then show me your student pilot certificate.
Him: Is that attached to the medical?
Me: No, it IS the medical.
Him: It's expired.
Me: Just give me the dam ticket!
Him: I threw it away.
 
While pre-flighting and untying the tail, you notice the tie-down ring is scraped and a little bent. Is the airplane airworthy?

Answer is in knowing COMPLETELY 91.213(d)

I'll becha he can't walk completely through the steps outlined in (d)(1)(i) and
(2)(i through iv) to determine if this piece of equipment is required operational.
