Terrorist will reverse themselves and back McCain.

They already back Obama.....(EDIT....should have read your post more carefully)

I really like his energy ideas. Ride a bike, take the train, sell my car, buy a hybrid, leave the fkn bears alone, don't drill, etc....

I've got a baby boy due in Sept. You can bet your butt he'll be the youngest person I've ever heard of getting a write in vote for prez.

I can find little good about either candidate.

Now... back on topic...

Britney Spears squirts out three more kids from four different fathers, then appears on Maury to find out who the dads really are.

Lindsay Lohan goes to rehab for the seventh time in as many months as she cleans up her meth addiction.

The Cubbies still blow it in September.

So do the Indians.

A basketball team will win the NBA finals.

Some redneck will win the NASCAR championship.

The treehuggers will still suck.

No read him again

Yes, you would do well to listen to Jim Webb. His thoughts? Get the hell out of Iraq.
Those are not his thoughts, he was dead set against the Iraq War, but read his book. He is a "we broke it, we have to fix it" He is really bitter about the anti-war dems, but he is more bitter about the neocon reps. I voted dem once before in 1964 because LBJ said a vote for Goldwater will get involved in a war and I was of draft age. Ha! Six months latee I am in the Navy on my way to Vietnam. Have not voted dem since. But if Jim runs in 2012 when MCCain elects not to run again he has my vote.

Yeah paranoia amongst the ill educated is starting to set in. McCain is not a true American when he decides to sell our livelyhoods overseas. Look at McCains tax plan. The only people that will get a rate hike are those who are not millionaires. Do you really have that many shares that you will benefit McCains extension of Bush tax cut on dividend returns. Remember McCain just tried to push for open trade with Columbia. I cant wait. I can see it now no tariffs on incoming goods or outsourcing of jobs. Good for you. McCains cant even smile right he is so evil. That man should be taken to the vet and put to sleep. Obama will win because America is intelligent enough to see what he is really about. They learned from voting for Bush (less evil then McCain in my opinion).

On another topic why is it that more democrates are educated in comparison to Rep. I dont mean this to be mean but just curious. Anyone have any idea?

McCain supports cabotage and allowing foreigners the right to underbid you for your job. McCain doesn't believe US airline pilots ought to have the right to strike, he sponsored a bill to eliminate the right to strike for airline employees. That doesn't sound too American to me. As a veteran and patriotic American, I can't support McCain.

No pun intended? ;) Oh the ironing!

On a side note, I find the Democrats and Republicans to be equally brainwashed and uneducated. "Don't throw your vote away"!!! Ah, the rallying cry of the 2 party system.

Hey I said more not all. Somehow I have managed to slip by starting from preschool. My motto in college was "anything for a C baby!"!!!

Yeah, Air France is going to contract all flying for the legacies and replace all the pilots with cheap immigrant Mexican labor.

Leaving aside the fact that this would immediately galvanize unions to actually strike (with or without permission), do you realize just how crazy-stupid this is?

I think you need to do some more research. Senator Webb was on Tim Russert's last Meet the Press, and he was quite clear in expressing his opinion on troop withdrawals. He wants us to force the Iraqis to take over protection of their country and for us to leave.

The President's (and Congress's) number one responsibility is to provide for the national defense. Everything else is secondary. Obama is clueless about what it takes to defend this nation other than to spout platitudes that make him look like a fool.

McCain maybe wrong about some things, but he is right on defense.

The last president we had that thought we could "all just get along" was Jimmy Carter. Drastic defense cuts combined with a feckless foreign policy gave us most of the Middle East problems we deal with today.

correct, most troops out, not US committment

With US involvment in supporting the Iraq's with material and firepower if needed. Like we were suppose to do in 1973 in Vietnam until the anti-war dems sold South Vietnam down the drain with a direct message to North Vietnam that it was OK to invade the south; the US would nothing. BTW I will reread his book and quote chaper and verse.

If we don't get a coherent energy and economic policy, and control the tidal wave of illegal aliens flooding into the US with the Republican's blessing, there won't be any country to defend.

Although I've been a lifelong Republican and veteran, there's no way I could vote for McCain.

In other words, you're agreeing with my original statement about Senator Webb: he wants us to get the hell out of Iraq. All you Republicans should listen to him. I'm more than happy to send the Iraqi government some materials and firepower. But let's get out troops the hell out of that godforsaken sand pit.
