have to say, I am very unhappy that 14% of our pilots did not care enough to even cast a vote.

The bottom line is that the banks, not necessarily management, will eventually get what they want. In an industry as treacherous to investment dollars as this one, financial institutions will look for as much of what they perceive as risk reduction as possible. If the employees refuse, they have plenty of better places to invest in. No bucks, no buck...well you know the rest.
