Texas will have succeeded from the USA and property values there will go through the roof as everyone floods in to The Republic of Texas!!

I predict that joemerchant will still be at ASA and be posting his rhetoric about and against alpa.
crj567 will be 10 years older and will up his BJ price to $10 from $5, but still be an f/o at ASA due to being told he needs to work more hours at Wendy's. He will however, have moved out of his mom's trailer, and into his own trailer!

I predict I will still be banging Scope (Gen Lee's) mom in the dank, dark corner of the local Burger King men's room.

Well that's only because the Texas Peso will be worth a 10th of the Mexican Peso. Land will be cheap for nationals from both sides of the border.

Brother, lets get the word right before we go and do anything... SECEDE.

secession |səˈse sh ən|
noun
the action of withdrawing formally from membership of a federation or body, esp. a political state : the republics want secession from the union.

BTW, its the last thing I want as a native... but when this great country pursues a zimbabwean monetary policy, we may not have a choice.

I wish Texas would leave now!! That would be great! Can you push this agenda on behalf of the rest of us? When Perry threatened last time no one asked him to stay. I thought that was pretty telling

I noticed you didn't deny the fact that you'd still be giving out $10 BJ's!
Congrats tiny, you're the best. At least you kept up with inflation!

Hopefully an industry with 10,000 less old ********************ing dried up douhcebags holding the bottom 80% down

You knuckleheads don't even know for sure what's going to happen next Tuesday let alone 1, 5, 10 or 20 years down the road. Besides, it really doesn't matter because according to the Mayan calendar were all doomed in 2012......

In the year 2020 there will still be some kid willing to fly my plane for peanuts. No different than today.

With all certainty oil will eventually be traded with denominations other than the dollar; the dollar will fall in value and our cost of living in the US will rise. The US will lose ground in a coming resource fight, hyperinflation will set. The combined cost of maintaining our aging infrastructure, oversized military, underfunded social security and healthcare will lead to further discontent. America is in a state of emergency and no one knows it now, wait till everyone realizes how poor a nation we are becoming. America has a fourth private branch of government; The Federal Reserve. That branch has expressed the whims of corporate and political greed to the point that our nations wealth is constantly exported. Ever notice how all US Treasury secretaries come from The Fed (a private company)?

We'll have more Tea parties and just maybe we'll find a better national fiscal policy, foreign and trade policy. Our country is like our airlines in that CEOs and politicians are revolving doors who look out for number one. Of course not all of them are corrupt, but by and large the system is fraught with a lack of national pride and no sense of self-preservation.

Either way we, our families and America will be poorer. But there will always been planes and at least we (for the most part) will enjoy our jobs... while we finance the social welfare of America. On the up side, there will be more movement in the airlines industry than ever before and hopefully we'll see a real pilot shortage if Congress presses the 1500/ATP rule. On the down side, we continue to work in the most volatile industry ever.

AA717driver will be chuckling about promising all his FO's that he'll "retire at 62 when SSI kicks in" and his 62nd birthday approaches.

Where is this idea that the fed is a private company coming from? I have heard it a lot recently. However all of the independent research I can find states that it at best somewhat autonomous from the central government, not needing congressional or Presidential approval to act, but that it is not a private organization, does not make a profit, does not sell stock publicly or to foreign interests. The board of governors and chairman are appointed by the President and confirmed by the senate and the board must make an annual report to the speaker of the House.

So where are the statements that the Federal Reserve is a private institution coming from? Is it something Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly or Glenn Beck stated on their shows recently? Who did the research before making these statements?

Oh, and for the 2020 prediction?

Wal Mart will be the sole airline in the USA and all pilots will have to work for ten years to pay off their flight training costs to Wal Mart aviation training. Benefits will be medical care discounted at 5% at all Wal Mart health centers and space available hotels at Wal Mart Inn. Retirement will be employment as a greeter at you nearest Wal Mart shopping center. For those physically able, they will be offered positions as dishwashers at Wal Mart Restraunts. Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly will spout the daily 'news' on Wal Mart television (a partnership with Fox News) and Rush will take care of the radio waves on Wal Mart radio.
