Potential FedEx Paris Euro- Hub??

Got this today from a buddy at UPS and their IPNN update:

{FEDEX NAMES EURO HUB}

FedEx has made Paris its European hub for air cargo. The cargo carrier
had to by-pass a European hub in Britian because of
trade agreements. Liberalization of US-UKflights has been frustrated for
nearly 30 years. British airlines oppose allowing more access to American
carriers unless the U.S. opens its market. Talks
on a larger open-skies agreement between
Europe and the U.S. ended without an agreement last year.

Sorry about the words stringing together - the cut and paste got messed up...probably by me

What this means? Ask the UPS bunch, they seem to know more about our operations than we do.

Maybe just more Paris flights...............

It's been our hub in Europe for years... hasn't it?

Back when I was doing SIBA, Paris is where we sat Hotel Standby. Paris is where the nightly hub turns occurred. As far as I know, that's still what's happening, only now there's a larger, more modern facility.

What's the news?

I'll bet that Paris is the soon to be announced Euro-domicile........Zurich is a "dead-deal" according to my ACP Jim Skinner......
