Jolimon, after my husband stopped laughing at your post, I asked him to answer your question anyway. I like his response! "We're getting our FOs off of government assistance". I think that about sums it up. You may not GET IT, but many others out there DO! One of the first steps in correcting a problem (luckily most of the NJ pilots don't have a problem in recognizing that there IS one) is raising awareness. You have to agree, the billboard is getting the message out there!
I hope he is not laughing himself out of a job. When you maliciously attack one of the largest companies in the world in a public forum you are likely to get bit. I hold out hope that it works out for you and your husband. Netjets walking or acquiring flops for the pilot population doesn't help anyone. We all know he is not battling for the co-pilots of the world he wants more money for himself.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that he (you are referring to my husband aren't you?) is "battling for the co-pilots of the world", of course. But he IS fighting for every pilot (and their families) at NJA, just as many of the others are. I think it's fair to say that he has given a LOT of his time and talent to the cause. If money were the only motivation, he'd be doing something else...or flying somewhere else, already.

Well, I guess it's a matter of perception of who attacked whom or who bit whom first. Seems to me the pilots here have been pretty brutally treated, and are about to return the favor.

I've not worked for a union shop yet, but I've often thought it would be nice, considering some of the ogres I've put up with.

Just because you disagree I am a moron.

Hugh Jorgan, I think I've found a funny new signature line for you...

We don't want the passengers to be surprised when the Strike comes and the Replacement Pilots come to fly them.

If you liked the billboard you'll love the WSJ on Monday.

Full page ad? Or assumed coverage from Friday's events.

Look forward to it.

Ah one post. Let me guess CS?

Talked to a friend of mine at CS he said that the CP and other managment routinely post on the message board trying to bait pilots.

Diesel,

No, I am not management, no i am not attempting to bait anyone. I just wanted to catch up on the happenings with the pending deadline and decided to check out the posts. I am impressed that for the most part, the posts are civil and constructive. I was not impressed with the responses to jolimon from the union reps. Seems like anytime there is a difference of opinion, then the F bombs start to fly. This fits in perfectly with my experience with union reps. They do not (in general) care about the members, just there own pocket books and job security.

Jolimon started with a flame bait comment directed at Netjet wife. He continued with acerbic remarks that were handed back to him. He doesn't work for Netjets or seem to have a desire to. He should try and improve his own lot and that of his fellow pilots at Avantair, but he would rather flame people from Netjets trying to improve our own position in the industy.

hey x402 you notice how people that don't even work for us are more concerned about our company than their own.

People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw bricks.
