Bye Bye--General Lee

Tanks.
furloughfodder said:Ouch General. Low blow..... not getting many international flights anymore over at Air Bubba?
General Lee said:What? Plenty. I was commenting that Polar or ATLAS guys could get their fill of foreign girlfriends, which could be good, but at the same time could be bad. Your Air Bubba remark shows your jealousy-----turned down at the interview, eh? I don't know about you, but I love my job.
Bye Bye--General Lee
furloughfodder said:Haha. Not jealous... I'm probably just kicking myself for turning down the Delta interview and deciding to stay at AA. By my nickname, you can see where that decision got me.
The "Air Bubba" thing just refers to the typical Delta pilot's international "radio techniques". It is an industry wide joke, not my invention. We can always tell when it is a Delta pilot on the radio overseas because of the southern drawl and lack of common ICAO phraseology. It's actually pretty entertaining.
Ya’ll be good now…ya hear?
