The only way we are going to get anywhere is to unite. Unfortunately, people like Classicdriver (and Caputo, the Atlas MEC Vice Chairtool) are against this.

The longer the company can keep us at each others throats, the longer they prevail. If you read the latest Polar MEC VARS message, you will see that Polar is ready to put our differences behind us and move forward together, even after what Atlas (allegedly) did to us during our strike. This speaks volumes for the character of the Polar pilots.

United, we can be a true force to be reckoned with, divided we fall.

And if anyone believes that, I've got a bridge I'll sell them. You got to be joking. Your group posts a 160 Atlas Pilot SCAB list and now you want everyone to believe that you want to be one big happy family.

Here's the story folks. Twelve months ago, the Polar MEC didn't want to have anything to do with Atlas. It was a failed concept and Polar was making all the money (their belief only). As a part of the strike settlement, the Polar MEC agreed to move the merger process along. They drug their feet until serious talk came to light about a sale. All of a sudden, out of the kindness of their hearts, they now want to be a united front against AAWH. What they want is for Atlas to share in any pain that may be coming their way. Be it attempted furloughs, or sale without the pilots. Pure and simple.

And Fodder, even if your not sold, that doesn't mean you weren't for sale. A lot of deals fall thru along the way. Ask Atlas about how close we were to being sold to FedEx. Not a rumour....very true. It fell apart because Chowdry wanted a title and big job with Fred Smith's airline, and he'd have no part of it.

Just take a deep breath and relax. ALPA National wanted a sixty day extention for a reason. They want the sale stuff to happen or be done with, then we will be focused on the merger process or saying adios.

I have always contended that Atlas/Polar would be a force to be dealt with combined. Unfortunately, everytime management wants to divide us they just toss out another carrot (there have been many times) for the Polar group which the Polar MEC jumps on and then say's "What?" when Polar leaves the Atlas group hanging in the wind despite any combined agreement.

We have tried to work with the Polar group a number of times only to be violated over and over again. Kicked in the teeth and stabbed in the back. Not a great basis to build further trust on.

If you read the latest Polar MEC VARS message, you will see that Polar is ready to put our differences behind us and move forward together, even after what Atlas (allegedly) did to us during our strike. This speaks volumes for the character of the Polar pilots.

Bobb Henderson said the same things before and we were violated again. I see a pattern here. The message about the Counciling meeting about two VARS back over the Counciling meeting with AFL-CIO ex-President was halarious or done with the extreme amount of literary license. Almost to the point of being false. What adds to this is that Atlas management and the Polar group wants this merger which tells me we are getting bent over the table again.

I'm not trying to convince any of the Polar group of anything. It's already too late since that membership is kept in the dark and feed manure of the Polar MEC's design.

I'm just trying to intervene were the Polar membership has been incited by their MEC to trash the Atlas group to the industry.

Everything on that site is factual and provable by documents or third party witness. Probably why there have been no Article 8 charges or lawsuits filed.

I agree with you. You'd think it would be pretty straight foward. "One Band-One Sound". But in avaition, we will take the most difficult path possible.
