ARLINGTON, Virg. - Sources close to the operators of the popular aviation message community "Flightinfo.com" confirm that multiple posts have been made within the past few weeks regarding the US Airways / Delta Airlines merger.

Moderators for the forums say there have been an abundance of bold statements supporting the arguements made by posters, a common strategy to get one's point across similar to a young boy screaming at his mother in a toy aisle. While many believe placing keywords in bold helps get a point across, others argue the change in typeface shows the author's bias in the opinion-neutral forum.

Personally, I don't care which way the merger goes. I just want all of the articles saying the same thing to stop.

Soon I hope to hold the record for the most postings regarding the merger...or anything for that matter. This board will bow down to me and regard me as their new moderator-in-chief. After all, who cares what your opinion is? I'm right 100% of the time when it comes to my company, even if all I do is sit right seat. All I have to do is repeat myself in every post.

I saw a a special on PBS about this just last week! They also said that 6 out of 10 third graders from Louisiana and at least 1 out of 10 from Mississippi recognized words typed in all CAPITALS as shouting and words typed in italics as outright sarcasm.

The study on words typed in different colors is still pending.

I think BOLDFACE words MEAN more to people who READ them. Emphasis added.
