As a ramper, I have been startled to see CRJs coming down the alley late at night, they are not very visible from a distance unless they have more than their navs & anti col on. Mostly because I didn't hear them coming with all the jet noise, these are relatively quiet idling. I can't see the anti col from head on for some reason.

ASA killed a ramper in 1999 just like this. He ran a tug into the side of a Brasilia during heavy rain.

Wing inspection lights improve safety on the ramp. Off the ramp they probably do more harm - especially higher planes like 757's. But get them on crossing a runway....

Yah I know I have flown the Saab 340, the EMB 135/145, and the CRJ and three airlines my friend!!

ASS/U/ME

If you would kindly notice that I wasn't quoting you, and I was, in general, referring to those who only have experience in a CRJ.

BTW, Your rebuttal sheds light on the fact that you can't hold a job.

So, at least for me, this kind of post gets you 5 days in the penalty box.

ROFLMAO!

Sick 'em! That guy has been a pain in the tail for a LONG time now. How many times in the penalty box before you get booted for a month or three? *snicker*

Incidentally, I've flown about 7 turbine aircraft at 5 jobs in 12 years. Just because we moved around a lot early in our career doesn't mean someone can't HOLD a job. How about: "better job opportunity" or "aircraft sold and not replaced" or "company went out of business"?

It's a weird ride in this career, sometimes we don't always get to pick a career carrier on our first or second try! ;)

Just dodging furlough buddy. Keep 'em coming though because this is kind of fun.

ps I have 1200 in the CRJ. Is that enough?

pps you improperly took my crm statement personally. It was meant to be lighthearted!!

SO HAPPY VALENTINES DAY

Thanks to the mods for putting a stop to that guy. He has no respect for fellow pilots. 3M or 9E guys don't deserve or appriciate that kind of talk.
