I got the impression from recent posts that Mark wanted to limit the edit and delete function intentionally.

My only guess is that the first post took all the succeeding posts with it when it was deleted.

Each time I've clicked on the address in my email, it takes me directly to the new reply. I wonder why you are getting a different result? I also like reading the actual reply message in the email, that's great!
