WOW! It must be loser day on FI. Using the 'pilot card' to get tail?
My experience has been that telling a woman you're a pilot is like telling them that you've got herpes. It's a repellent for women; I suppose that if you want a piece of trailer trash tail (herpes optional), then you go tell 'em you're a pilot.
One of my best friends used to tell women that he was a door to door brush salesman. He found it much more effective than telling them you're a pilot.

Wow, there's more of you losers out there than I realized that don't know how to play it!!! You can't just drop it out there.
Btw, I'm not a weekend warrior, just haven't updated. I have about 1000 dual given now, I'm paying my dues, but man, I love the way the girls respond to pilots, even if I am only making 20K a yr.

The only people that use the pilot card are low time, inexperienced guys. Come on guys.....300hrs???? 1000hrs????.....Let me give you kids a hint. Look at the total time of the guys making fun of you two chumps. This should give you a clue, but I am sure you will come back with some remark about how cool it is to wear your flight suit as you practice your turns around a pylon.

Shame that just being yourself doesn't work.

Hmmm, wonder what ever could be the problem?

I couldn't agree more. What's up with you guys that hide who you are and what you do for a living? What do you say when they ask, "What do you do?" Lie? Help yourself out and get some self-esteem if your ashamed of what you do.

If girls are shallow enough to care what you do, then anything you tell them is fair game, as long as it works! I don't tell them directly, but they usually figure it out at some point, it seems. BTW, I'm not ashamed of being a pilot at all, it just takes the sport out of it to tell them right off!

The best response I've ever gotten is from being myself, if you make it far enough into the night with them eventually they will find out what you do and at that point you should already be in....and yes they will tell their friends they slept with a pilot, thats just how it is.
