"Pistol Packin' Pilots" <-- That's the title of a paper I plan to write for my Public Policy class. Now, I know this topic has been touched upon quite a bit so I'll try somewhat of a new angle.

I'd really like to include primary sources from my research such a YOU MEN & WOMEN who are actually in the filght deck.

Let's say for example the FAA and Policy makers of this industry turned all the decisions over to us, the pilots.
How would you present this to your audience for approval? whether it be for or against?
The obvious questions will come up such as
-Who is directly, and indirectly, affected by pilots being armed/unarmed?
-Where does this policy fit into the larger scheme of things?
-How could the armed pilots program be implemented differently, more efficiently or more effectively?
-What are some alternatives to the current program underway?

I apprieciate any & all replies. If this is something you feel very strongly about please PM me and share your thoughts.
